Arugula Canapés
Garlic - Sea Salt - Grana Padano
Until I had a "flat-mate" from Manchester, I had never heard the word "canapé". Turns out, that is exactly what this recipe is! A cracker or small slice of bread, with a savoury topping, served as an hors d'ouevres!
Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic
1 bag arugula
20 crackers (*I used Delicate Thin Crisp Rosemary & Sea Salt Wasa crackers, but any cracker should do, within reason)
100 g Grana Padano cheese
Step 1
Crush and finely chop garlic. Then in a frying pan, heat olive oil and garlic. Add arugula and sear until softened.
Step 2
Evenly top crackers with the seared arugula.
Step 3
Top each with a slice of cheese. Serve and enjoy!
